You already know the pencils and like them? You would like to spread the word about them?
This is now possible but there is even some better news… by becoming an affiliate, not only can you advertise them but you can also make money for every sale you will generate from this website. By using your affiliate link, you will get 10% (pretax) for every sale you generate from this website. (not available for sales on eBay) Payout is available as soon as you reach the $19 threshold. (10 sales) You will not be paid before you reach that threshold. For more details, please check the Terms and Conditions section.

What is affiliation?
It’s all about promoting a product. All you have to do is to spread the word about it.  Every affiliate has a unique link to promote the product. This link drives visitors to a “landing page”. In this case, the page describing the pencils. If a visitor ends up buying a set, the sale is directly tied to the affiliate who brought the visitor to the website, thanks to their unique and personalized link. The affiliate is then credited with 10% of the sale. (pre-tax) All you need to do is copy and paste your affiliate link wherever you want to advertise the pencils. You can share it on social media, send it to your metal detecting friends and family. If you have a website or a blog, this is a great and easy way to promote the pencils and potentially generate sales and commissions. How many times did you get the question: “Where did you buy them?” That’s another opportunity to use your affiliate link. Let’s say you have been cleaning coins with them and you are posting your result on social media, you can include the link in your post.
With affiliation, you do not need to worry about inventory or even shipping. It is all taken care of! All you need to do is to put the word out!
Note that affiliates will get the 10% commission on their own purchases. If you have a club, that can be very interesting as it gives you a 10% discount.
If you are interested in becoming an affiliate, all you need to do is register as an affiliate, through the Register Section. Please note that it may take some time before your application is reviewed and approved. You will then receive a username and password through an email (“WordPress” as the sender. Check your spam folder as well). Next step is to login through the Affiliate Login Section.
After your first login, 2 important steps remain:
Once you have logged in, you will have the following menu (Store Affiliates section):
  1. Overview
  2. Sales
  3. Payment History
  4. Creatives
  5. Edit Profile
  6. Log Out

Here is what it looks like:

1) Click on “Edit Profile” and enter your PayPal address at the bottom. All commissions will be paid through PayPal, once the $19 threshold is reached. You cannot become an affiliate without having a PayPal account.

2) Go to the Creatives section. This is where you will find your affiliate link. This link serves as a referral marker and ensures that every sale you make from this website will be linked to you, thus giving you a 10% commission. All you need to do is copy and paste it wherever you want to advertise the pencils. You can share it on social media, send it to your friends and family.
The link comes into 2 different formats: a “by default format” which is a regular Internet link, or an html code.
Regular affiliate link
Here is how the link works. Let’s say that you are the 5th registered affiliate. Your affiliate link will be http://restoringyourfinds.com/index.php/product/andres-cleaning-pencils-le-crayon-a-andre/?wpam_id=5.
“?wpam_id=5” is the affiliate related part of the link, with “id=5” being your specific affiliate identity. This identity is unique. If a visitor comes to the landing page following your affiliate link and ends up buying one or more sets, these sales will be directly connected to you.
Html link
You can get the html code by clicking on “Default Creative” at the bottom. The html code can only be used where you have the ability to insert html code. (blogs, forums, websites). It basically allows you to change your affiliate link into a hypertext link. All you have to do is insert it within an html context and of course, modify the text : “default affiliate link” to anything you want.

It would then look like this: Learn more about the pencils! with the “Learn more about the pencils!” being an active link.
